This seminar provided an opportunity to hear directly from Queensland government infrastructure representatives and Queensland’s pension fund Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) about how to fully utilize innovative and progressive private sector infrastructure investment and from investors about their views on current and for future trends.

Key speakers included Darren Crombie, Deputy Director General, Infrastructure, Policy and Planning, Department of Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning and Mark de Medici, Principal, Global Infrastructure, QIC.

In the panel discussion following the lecture, the seminar tried to verify the conditions (i.e. for market expansion and to seek appropriate risk sharing , etc) with panelists who are active in the front lines of infrastructure business on the issues of public and private partnership / infrastructure investment in our country.
