LTIIA is co-sponsoring the 8th World Pensions Forum at the Marriott Grand-Place in Brussels, Belgium on 23-24 May 2019.

The 2019 World Pensions & Investments Forum will focus more particularly on pension and insurance investment, financial regulation & risk management in the new ‘Geoeconomic Era’ characterized by mounting trade tensions, renewed regional rivalries, monetary imbalances and cyber-risks.

The debates, bringing together asset owners and policy makers from across G7 nations, Greater China and Australia, will focus on the evolving fiduciary role of pension and insurance executives and board members (trustees) in relation to ESG & the UN SDGs, notably corporate governance, green growth and women’s empowerment (SDG5).

This high-level conference will also include a special session on modern pension design and cross-border pension and insurance contracts, with US, UK, Canadian, European Union and ASEAN legislators, academics and financial regulators.
