From 13-17 June 2016, Global Infrastructure Basel Foundation (GIB) successfully held a high-level working session on defining sustainability and resilience principles for the credit rating and insurance of infrastructure.

The overall programme was shaped by interactive workshops and presentations held together with 16 carefully selected participants, including Béatrice Causse, ESG Leader at LTIIA.

Discussions revolved around the development of sustainability and resilience principles as the common denominator for stakeholders engaged in infrastructure financing and insurance, thereby helping to stimulate private sector participation in these fields.

The working session concluded with the joint formulation of the “Bellagio Call to Action”, which focuses on data, tools and collaboration in the field of credit rating and insurance of sustainable and resilient infrastructure.
